Hoodies are a wardrobe essential, for women, it's essentially good thinking always to have at least one woman's hoodie in your closet. For men, a hoodie outfit is simply not complete without the main event. A hoodie can be a sweatshirt, jumper or jacket with a hood. It is usually worn for casual or sportswear, where people tend to pair it with sweatpants. As the hoodies are loose fitting and made from cotton, they are also soft and can be worn for hours. The hood adds versatility as it keeps you warm in cold weather and protects you from the rain. The basic method is to lay the hoodie on a flat surface, upside down. The back of the hoodie should be facing up and the front facing down. While still in this position, cross your arms towards the middle of the hoodie. The hoodie will take on a rectangular shape. Take the top half of the hoodie and fold it over the other half. Take one side of the hoodie and fold it vertically over the other, so that the hood protrudes downwards. Open it and stretch it over the folded body of the hoodie. At this point, you should be able to fit the entire hoodie into the nook of the hood. The folded hoodie should be square in shape with the hood covering the rest of the hoodie, like a bag.
When considering what to wear with a hoodie, pay attention to colour: use the colour of your hoodie to enhance your outfit. Pairing a plain black, brown, white or grey hoodie with the right accessories (such as statement jewellery) can create a sophisticated, upscale look. If you're going for a more playful vibe, opt for bright, bold colours. Layer it under a jacket: A hoodie is the perfect piece to layer under many jacket styles for cold days. Layer your hoodie with a bomber, and opt for jeans and white trainers for a casual, streetwear look. Pair the outfit with a trench coat for a classic style, a blazer for the office, or a denim jacket for variety. Add one or two accessories for men: sunglasses and a pair of earrings or a watch will do wonders in adding personality to your outfit. Mix and match different accessories for women, choosing from jewellery, hats, glasses and scarves for that extra something to complement your hoodie.
