1. Unpack your kit (T-shirt, needle, patches, thread, & care card).
2. Lay your T-shirt out on a flat surface.
3. Slide a firm book into the shirt to prevent sticking yourself with the needle as it passes through.
4. Carefully thread the needle with the thread of your choice. Tie a knot (or two) at the end of the thread. Feel free to ask for help from your parents or friends!
5. Layout the first patch on the shirt in its desired location.
6. Stick the threaded needle through one side of the T-shirt and bring it back out approximately 1” farther down the patch. Repeat this step until you have passed the needle and thread through the perimeter of the patch.
7. Tie the knot off at the end of the patch and cut thread.
8. Repeat steps 5-7 using the remaining patches and thread.
